Tower Inspections
Sensorem conducts high-resolution drone inspections of telecommunication towers, capturing all structural, mechanical and antenna components in detail. Our standardised capture workflows document antennas, mounts, feeder cables, RRUs, platforms, and overall tower condition – helping teams confirm configurations, identify defects, support maintenance planning and reduce the need for physical climbs. This approach improves safety, accuracy and consistency across large portfolios.
Audits & Design Visits
Our drone data supports end-to-end audit and design workflows, capturing the information required for tenancy assessments, upgrade planning and pre-construction design visits. This includes measurements for equipment placement, equipment identification, compound layout, rooftop access paths and documentation of all existing infrastructure. High-resolution imagery ensures engineering teams have accurate site records without the need for repeat visits.
Digital Twin Replica
Using photogrammetry and, where suitable, LiDAR, we produce highly accurate 2D and 3D models of towers, compounds and rooftop sites. These digital twins provide a true-to-life representation of the asset for engineering, space reservation, design validation and network planning. Digital twins also support clearer communication between stakeholders and make remote review faster and more reliable than traditional photo sets alone.
Line-of-Sight (LoS)
Drones provide crucial visual context for line-of-sight assessments by capturing terrain, vegetation, structures and new developments at various altitudes. This helps planning teams identify obstructions, validate RF modelling assumptions, support microwave link planning and understand environmental factors that may influence coverage performance. LoS drone capture is especially valuable for greenfield sites or locations where terrain or clutter has changed over time.
